Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., is a nonprofit law firm which provides community education and legal representation to Southern California’s most vulnerable immigrant communities.
Esperanza has proudly provided legal services to immigrants and their families in Southern California for over 15 years and it is composed of a team of passionate staff, interns, and volunteers. More information can be found about Esperanza at


Esperanza is looking to contract a Content Manager. This year we are developing a web application to help unaccompanied minors navigate the complicated legal processes. The app will consist of helpful resources for unaccompanied minors and their families to understand the journey they are embarking on. This will be of great help to those that do not have access to hired legal services.
The content manager will work with key stakeholders that are experts in the subjects of immigration. This role entails organizing existing content, creating a content strategy, assigning roles to team members, communicating with other creatives to acquire deliverables, and ensure deadlines are being met.
The Content manager’s responsibilities will include:
 Manage the team of content creators and facilitate the delivery of assets within the
allotted deadlines;
 Be responsible for coordinating creation of translated content for all of the
languages supported by the application;
 Be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to implement
and maintain content moderation policies.
The Content Manager will work with the input of the Program Manager for Released


Minimum Qualifications:
 Strong familiarity with a CMS (preferably WordPress);
 Experience organizing content;
 Demonstrated ability and willingness to take on challenging and novel project;
Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience in the field of law, preferably in immigration and/or public interest law is a huge plus;
 Passion for social justice!
