Summer Intern
Testimonial
When looking for a summer internship, my school had provided an event that we were allowed to attend to interview with internships and get our foot into the door. While looking at the options, I saw Esperanza come up and was intrigued because immigration is a discipline that I hope to practice in when becoming an attorney. I did some research on the organization before I had my interview, and immediately knew that this was an organization that aligned with my values and goals for when becoming an attorney. My interview with the organization was also great, it felt welcoming, and I was excited when I got the email with the internship offer.
My time with Esperanza so far has been the same, welcoming. I was assigned to the LOP program within Esperanza and the whole team was welcoming from the start and aided in me finding my footing within this fast-paced environment. The team made sure I was well equipped with the necessary knowledge to achieve the goals of the program, but also made clear that if I had any question, I could approach them without a doubt.
Overall, I have enjoyed my time with Esperanza and will cherish the sense of comradery and care within teams and within the individuals that we help every single day.
