COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Esperanza's Community Education programs inform youth, adults and families about their rights, possible forms of relief, and other resources available to them.
For those non-detained and in removal proceedings, we provide them with important information and self-help services and support them as they navigate the complex immigration system. This includes free workshops and clinics that help individuals prepare immigration applications for asylum and employment authorization, for example.
Additionally, our team responds to calls from adults detained at the Adelanto Detention Facility to inform them of their rights and support them while they are in immigration removal proceedings. Our Community Education team collaborates with key partners in the region to provide Know Your Rights Presentations to impacted community members, law firms and social service providers.
