What is Esperanza's Fundraising Campaign for?
Join Esperanza this July as we raise funds for unaccompanied refugee children. These children have survived arduous journeys, neglect, violence, abuse and persecution. Now in the U.S., they find themselves facing serious legal, mental and physical health challenges. Esperanza serves thousands of unaccompanied children in SoCal each year, providing FREE legal and social services to help them obtain legal status and protect their mental and physical well-being.
Throughout the U.S. history, immigrants have come to this county, made a home, and contributed to the richness of our society. Almost 14% of the population are immigrants, and almost a quarter of immigrants in the U.S. live in California.
A note from Esperanza Program Director, Kimberley Plotnik
How can you make an impact?
We recognize the immense contribution of immigrants to every sector of society and to our community. We also believe in that the youth we serve every day deserve a chance and have the potential to thrive with our support.
We need your support to ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of this vulnerable group of young immigrants.
