Testimonial

It is with immense gratitude and pride that I reflect on my seven-year journey at Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project. Esperanza's mission resonated deeply with me from the outset. As a daughter of immigrants, I was drawn to their dedication to advocating for and empowering the most vulnerable members of our immigrant communities and wanted to find a way to contribute to their work. What began as a volunteer opportunity swiftly evolved into a transformative professional journey during which I had the privilege to serve in roles ranging from Pro Bono Coordinator to Associate Director. From coordinating pro bono and volunteer efforts to expand our impact and reach, to providing direct support to leadership and staff to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of our services, I was continually inspired by the strength and resilience of our clients and the unwavering passion and commitment of my colleagues. And although the work could be daunting and heartbreaking, each success story and win was a testament to our collective resilience and compassion.
As I look forward, I carry with me the invaluable lessons learned and the profound relationships forged during my time with Esperanza. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have had here and for the trust placed in me to contribute meaningfully to our mission.
